  • Harmon Burns Memorial Golf Classic – to benefit the Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club. Harmon Burns was instrumental in the development and growth of our Indoor Soccer League. Currently we have 380 kids from diverse backgrounds participating in a non-competetive, recreational league. For more information, please contact Rob or Kelli at 650-364-4933.
  • Annual Golf Tournament – Our annual golf tournament presents a unique opportunity to give back to the community while enjoying a round of golf. The tournament is held at the beautiful Crystal Springs Golf Course, which sits on a ridge overlooking 27,000 acres of protected forest with pristine vistas of the Crystal Springs Reservoir and the coastal range. More than 150 golfers, volunteers, sponsors, and donors contribute to this annual outing.
  • This year’s tournament is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2009. We always welcome new golf participants. Various sponsorship opportunities are also available, including corporate, hole, and advertising sponsorships.
  • Annual Holiday Party – The Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club, in collaboration with Robert Half International and Robert & Rita DeLue, hosted four children’s parties in December to celebrate the holiday season. Thanks to all of our sponsors, more than 2,000 youth from the Bayshore and San Mateo communities were invited to enjoy holiday refreshments, participate in carnival games and win prizes. Each child had the opportunity to visit and take a picture with Santa and received a holiday gift from the Club, provided by several corporate and individual donors. The weekday parties, held at each of the three Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club locations, were attended by Club members and local school students. On Saturday, December 13th, more than 400 members of the Boys & Girls Club organization, including members of the Oakland, San Francisco, South San Francisco, and Mid-Peninsula Clubs, attended a holiday party sponsored by Robert Half International.
