This school year members in grades 3rd-12th grade are learning how to code thanks to our partnership with the Girls Who Code program. This program teaches resiliency among participants by breaking the gender gap in the STEM field.
Our 3rd-5th grade girls all designed vision boards and the 6th-12th grade designed their own websites on Weebly. Once they were all completed with their projects, each club site had a chance to showcase their work to the community, their parents, and so on. Our Bayshore site had the privilege of showcasing their vision board to Senator Gillibrand when she came to visit.
Check out their website here.
Great job, coders!
