During these unprecedented times, this past Tuesday might be another day of sheltering at home but for non-profits everywhere it is #GivingTuesdayNow: A chance to help those beyond the boundaries of our homes. Home is not only the buildings we live in but the people we share it with and the people we protect and provide for. Home is where we are safe to be our authentic and best selves.
For over 800 children, the five clubhouses of the Mid-Peninsula Boys and Girls Club is home. It is a place we can come together to face the challenges of today and rise to the occasion of tomorrow. Because of people like you, our families, and our communities, we are stronger together.
In just a few short days, we reached the $15,000 goal of the dollar-for-dollar challenge set by our board members! On behalf of the members, families, and staff of the Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club, we would like to thank every donor and contributor for the generosity and faith in creating a home of tomorrow. Thank you for believing in the youth of today.
