As the nation faces uncertain times, our Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club is doing whatever it takes to ensure our members, families, and San Mateo County communities have what they need to get through this.
Why give now?
Give the Gift of Connection: Close the Digital Divide Today!
In these uncertain times, we are seeing that not all distance learning is created equally. Low-income kids like our members face significant barriers to getting online. With your support on Tuesday, May 5th, we can make sure they have the tools they need!
Help our Kids and Families Cook Through Covid!
Everyone is talking about it from the New York Times to NPR: “At a scale not seen in over 50 years, America is cooking, a healthy move in the middle of a pandemic.” At our Club, members have asked that we continue our popular cooking programs online but they need your help with the cookware and ingredients they need to follow along and make healthy meals for themselves and their families while they shelter-in-place.
Help us be Recovery Ready!
When this is over, we will have a lot of work to do to get our members back on the path to great futures. Low-income kids like our members were already behind and we know that “students who struggle will likely struggle more online.” Help us provide free recovery camp for all of our families so that our members know they are supported even when things are hard.
You can be part of this important work on Tuesday, May 5th, 2020. So mark your calendars!
If you recently made your gift to Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club, we THANK YOU! If you have been meaning to but have not yet, now is the time your gift will make the greatest impact.
