Teens meet Supervisor David Canepa

Saturday, May 25th our teens met Supervisor Canepa, his staff, and an intern from Columbia University to learn about community outreach and the role of local politics. Teens also learned about the use of data in community outreach, the challenges outreach workers face, and how to overcome these challenges and share information with some of our highest need populations.

Teens used an app to track active voter for targeted marketing and worked with Staffer Tony Bayudan as they walked through and learned about the neighborhood.
